If you are having trouble posting a picture, maybe this information can help.
There are two main ways to post pictures on this forum - Use a free photo/image hosting web site, or upload directly to the HuntAddicts.com Forum.
Using a free photo hosting Web site:
There are many sites to choose from, some of the popular ones are Photobucket, ImageShack, Flickr, etc. Some of these sites allow you to create free accounts, upload your photos, and share/view them from those accounts. Other of these sites allow you to upload files without creating an account. Either of these options will work, depending on what you would rather do. If you create an account, these sites will store your images in albums where you can return to them again and again. The other option is fast and doesn't require creating an account, but finding your image, should the need arise, will be somewhat difficult.
When images are uploaded, the sites will typically provide codes for sharing/posting on other sites. You will need to choose the appropriate code, It may look something like this:

(Of course the address inside will be different)
Photobucket seems to be a site that is widely used, so I will briefly explain how to upload pictures from a Photobucket account:
1 - Create your free account
2 - Upload your photos to your account - this may take a minute depending on your connection and file size
3 - After the file is uploaded it should appear in your Album. Click the "edit" button above the image you uploaded and want to post.
4 - The resize button will be of particular importance to you at this point. Click the "resize tool" to resize the image.
5 - There will be a toolbar to edit your image, use the "resize" tool. "Keep Proportions" should be highlighted or checked. Enter a number in the first box - A good size to use on the forum is probably less than 500 pixels in either dimension. If "Keep proportions" is checked when you enter a new size in one box, the other will automatically update.
6 - Click "Apply" and either save a new copy or replace the original. Realize that your larger resolution photo will be deleted from your Photobucket album if you click "Replace original." (These buttons are found at the bottom of the page).
7 - You should see a new page with options to share the image you resized and saved. On the left of the page there will be an "IMG Code." Left of that you should see a box/field of code that looks something like the code listed above:
[img]http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c356/my-account/image.jpg[/ img]
8 - Click inside the box and it should copy the code.
9 - After you have done this - come back to HuntAddicts.com Forum, where you are working on your post and paste the code into your post where you want the picture to appear. Submit or preview your post as you typically would, and you should find your picture posted there.
Uploading image files to Huntaddicts.com forum
Uploading images will require resizing of most images. Because images take up a lot of space on our server, image size needs to be reduced. The maximum size for an image to be uploaded is 800 pixels wide x 600 pixels tall, and the file size cannot exceed 256 kib. The maximum number of pictures loaded as attachments on a single post is 25.
1 - Re-size your image so that it meets the criteria listed above.
2 - Click on the "Upload Attachment" tab below the save/submit/preview buttons. It is between the "Options" tab and the "Poll creation" tab.
3 - Click the "Browse" button and locate the file on the computer - When the file has been located click "open" and you will see the directory listed in the box beside the "Browse" button.
4 - Click "Add the file" -- This will upload the image, and should only take a few seconds for those of you with fast internet connections. The page reloads and you will see a list of "Posted Attachments" directly below the white box you type your messages in. You can add file comments, and the picture will be placed at the end of your post. If you want the pictures placed somewhere else in the post - perhaps you are telling a story with multiple pictures, place your cursor where you want the image to be in the post and click the "Place Inline" button.
5 - If your image is larger than 500 pixels in any dimension, a thumbnail will automatically be created - this simply means that the forum creates a smaller image that fits on the page better. By clicking on the images in the post you can view them full size.
