What's the farthest you have ever found the "other side" of a buck side?

Pretty big buck?.... I am looking for the other side to a 6X7 buck, and found the one side weeks ago when it was still bloody, he usually holds onto the other side (or has the last few years) and drops it away from the other a ways, but I have yet to come across it and knowing as many people who know about him haven't heard the other side getting picked up, but I can't find the dang thing. Oh well just keep trying its an item thats about 1 foot big in a land mass of miles, just gotta walk by the right bush I suppose. Just wondering how far he might have taken it. I may have a problem though because the day after finding it I saw hound dogs chasing the deer in the area (never saw him, with it on his head at least) and who knows how far away it might be if it was still on his head then.

If they aren't within about 100 yards, I rarely find the other side. I have found matches with buddies (I picked up one side, someone else the other) years apart, but usually within a half mile or so. You can't beat it when they are lying there right together. I wish I would have taken some ATL picks back when I used to do more shed hunting.
